Sr. Electrical Engineering position requires 10+ years of experience; Experience related to Marine Electrical systems is a plus.

A Sr. Marine Electrical Engineer develops electrical systems for marine vessels and floating structures, such as ships, barges, tugs, etc. and performs calculations necessary to assist in the design and fabrication of such vessels.

The ideal candidate should possess a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering with knowledge in electrical distribution system design development, arrangements, component selection, tradeoff analysis, electrical load analysis, ArcFlash hazard analysis, coordination studies, FMEA and design integration is preferred. Experience related to marine vessels such as oceangoing vessels, patrol vessels, offshore support vessels, research vessels, tugs, and barges is a plus, but is not mandatory. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must in addition to familiarity with IEC, NEC, IEEE, ABS, CFR, USCG, SOLAS, IMO and other applicable regulations is preferred. Experience with AutoCAD, EZpower, ETAP, MATLAB software is a plus. The ability to multitask and work within a fast-paced environment is imperative. They should be willing to travel occasionally.
