Job Description
SchoolMint’s Marketing is searching for a Graphic Designer with diverse experience, with versatile skill sets and modern sensibility, and an exceptional ability to portray brand expression.This role will help evolve the brand, produce and oversee creative solutions to address departmental and organizational needs. This person will add to our small but mighty, lean marketing team. He or she should be highly creative with an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling (photography and/or video skills a huge plus) and brand building.
The Graphic Designer will produce engaging, high-quality assets in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and must have experience executing on marketing projects from ideation to production. Projects range from email and web design to product marketing, social media content, digital ads, video assets, print collateral, and more. This is a highly visible role within the department, and organization, that will help shape brand identity.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and further elevate the brand aesthetic across all digital touch-points (conceptualize, create, expand on the visual identity, and update brand guidelines)
- Design innovative and effective brand experiences that support business growth and the overall brand experience
- Design and produce a wide array of media (including emails, ads, content, print collateral, web visuals, company swag and more)
- Conceptualize and execute the creative design strategy behind all marketing campaigns
- Own projects from kickoff through completion, incorporating feedback into thoughtful final assets
- Lead the design strategy from user research through the development of sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes
- Concept innovative design frameworks through wireframes, and clickable prototypes
- Help brand and launch thought leadership website and assets
- Work closely and collaborate with cross-functional teams
About You
- 3+ years of graphic design experience
- BA in related Design field, or similar proven work experience
- Solid understanding of brand identity systems and their application
- Strong online portfolio showing a range of work across print, digital, presentation, and video mediums
- Ability to create interactive prototypes with InVision, Axure or similar
- Experience designing Web UX and optimizing websites for conversion
- Proficient in at least one UX/UI tool; Sketch, Figma, XD or similar
- Proficient in Adobe CC tools; Photoshop, illustrator, and InDesign
- Experienced with project management and collaborative tools
- Think strategically and execute efficiently, leveraging data and design best practices
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication, presentation, and project management skills
- Ability to balance both design execution and production to efficiently carry a project from inception to completion
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Ability to exercise good judgment in resolving problems and removing blockers to success
- Willingness to take creative direction, adapt on the fly, and offer solutions that drive to succeed
- Experienced in video editing and motion graphics a huge plus
- Bonus points if you have experience designing user experiences for enterprise software/services
