Job Description
SchoolMint’s Marketing is searching for an experienced Marketing Specialist to help realize marketing operations and campaigns efforts. We are looking for an experienced professional looking to grow within the marketing practice and help shape it. The specialist should demonstrate experience in performance marketing, have strong writing skills, analytics driven, and exceptional project management skills. This role will assist in implementing and executing omni-channel marketing campaigns through promotional materials, content writing, advertising strategies, and social media.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as project manager on various projects
- Work cross functionally across different departments
- Plan, develop and execute marketing campaigns across different channels from start to finish (i.e. paid media, social media, email, web, etc.)
- Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns (i.e. conversion rates, lead volume, traffic, etc.)
- Assist in inbound and outbound marketing strategies
- Develop compelling marketing assets adaptive to various decision-maker personas, products, and content formats (web, DG, SEO/SEM, paid, etc.)
- Execute on technical on-page and off-page optimization efforts
- Streamline and optimize existing processes across the department
- Lead social media objectives through strategy creation, implementation, and ongoing optimization
- Support Growth Marketing, Content Marketing, Retention Marketing and Content Marketing practices as directed
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all programs
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and opportunities
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 3+ years experience in an in-house marketing department with progressive responsibilities
- Highly experienced in creating content for the web and building/growing an audience, with a diverse portfolio of writing samples
- Superior copywriting and editing skills, with creativity, opinions, curiosity, wit, humor, and a sense of collaboration in your content creation process
- Experience writing copy for multiple target demographics and audience-journeys
- Strong understanding of inbound marketing, SEO, link building, lead generation, and conversion optimization
- Understanding of content production processes including design, layout, reviews, and approval
- Google Analytics certification and/or expert knowledge
- Proficient with GTM or other tag implementation tool
- Knowledge of GSC and understanding of how to leverage for web
- Experience in paid and social media strategy with proven ROAS
- Comfortable working in lean and agile work environment
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with remote team members
- Bonus points if you have strong HTML, CSS, JS, UI/UX knowledge
- Double bonus points if you’ve done all of this in the SAAS, K12 space
