Basic Purpose:

With direction from Maintenance Superintendent, supervise Maintenance Mechanics and other hourly Maintenance workers as they complete assigned preventative and repair maintenance tasks. Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with Noranda Alumina policies and procedures.

Education/Training Requirements:

High School diploma plus up to 10 years of maintenance or industrial construction with several years of direct supervision responsibility are required. VoTech certification a plus

Supervision Responsibilities:

Direct supervision of 6 to 12 Mechanics and other hourly Maintenance workers
