Arcosa Marine now hiring a Custodian for our Madisonville, LA barge plant.

Responsibilities:
• Keep building and work areas in a clean and orderly condition by performing any combination of duties, including sweeping, mopping, washing, cleaning, and removing trash from building and work areas
• May maintain building by performing minor and routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning light fixtures, changing light bulbs, and replacing necessary components
• Maintain grounds by mowing, watering, edging lawns, planting, and trimming flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in similar job capacity
• Required to stand for long periods of time; extensive walking
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Must have understanding of the technical aspects of job
• Must have ability to follow verbal or simple written instructions and procedures
• Must be able to work the following shift hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday
• Regular attendance is required

*This position requires that you wear Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, etc.) to meet OSHA standards.
